Miss Sara—Preschool:  Miss Sarah has a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She currently has a license for birth—3rd grade and her subject expertise is young children. Her passion in teaching is teaching young children to be creative and unique in the way that God made them to be using a Montessori teaching approach. Teaching skills that she is known for include patience, time management, organization skills, and hands-on teaching.

Ms. Erin—Kindergarten:  Ms. Erin received her undergraduate degree from Western Governors University, with bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies K-6. She received her Colorado State teaching license for grades K-6 in 2014 and is still current. She has a passion for helping students make connections in their learning to the world around them. They not only focus on traditional subjects, but also everyday social and emotional skills that will help them outside of the classroom. She feels very strongly about helping those students who may struggle with learning at first to find different strategies and tricks and to have the confidence to keep trying. She wants students to have fun and gain a true sense of joy for learning. Teaching skills that she is known for include organization, lesson transitions, engaging activities, and teacher partnering.


​Ms. Flores—First & Second Grades:  Ms. Flores has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Saint Leo University and a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Grand Canyon University. Her current Colorado teaching license is for grades K-6. She is in her eighth year of teaching 1st and 2nd grade. 
Her subject expertise is in language, science, math, and science. Teaching skills that she is known for include creating engaging lessons, student preparedness, and creativity In lessons and activiites.

Mrs. Tschetter—Fourth & Fifth Grades: Mrs. Tschetter attended Northern Colorado University where she received her degree as a double major in Political Science and History. She has a master’s degree in Education with a thesis in Curriculum Development & TESOL Certificate from University of Phoenix.  She previously had a teaching license for K-8. She has been homeschooling her children also for many years. Her subject expertise is Writing, Grammar and History, and her passion is Classical Education. Teaching skills that she is known for include exciting experiments, classical conversations, Bible & history knowledge, and incredibly creative classroom projects.

Mrs. Carter—Sixth—Eighth Grades: Mrs. Carter has a BA in Spanish with a minor in Criminal Justice from Texas State University and a doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech School of Law. She has a lifetime Certification in Secondary Education in the state of Texas. Additionally, she has been homeschooling her children for many years. Her subject expertise is Spanish and loves teaching all homeschooling levels!  Her expertise includes language and grammar instruction, student preparedness, classroom management, and an excellent sense of humor!

Mrs. Lungren—First & Second Grade Phonics: Mrs. Lungren has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English as a Second Language from Southern Utah University. She also studied for her Math Certification and has completed post-undergraduate classes to teach math K-8 in Utah and Iowa. She has her teaching license in Utah, South Dakota, and Iowa for K-8. Her subject expertise and teaching passion is Math and Grammar.  Her teaching expertise include organization, patience, enrichment games, and parent communication.

Mrs. Struthers—Spanish Immersion: Mrs. Struthers went to school at Miami University of Ohio where she studied Creative Writing and Spanish. She has a master's degree in Elementary Education from Trinity College in Washington. She has a current elementary education teaching license for Grades K-8th. Mrs. Struthers had an 11-year history of bilingual education. Her passion is to make language learning fun and meaningful.  Her teaching expertise include engaging lessons, activities, songs and movement in the classroom, and an effervescent attitude.
